| Addiction Services |

| The Division of Addiction Services (DAS) has developed services targeted to youth in New Jersey's child welfare system. These programs enable youth to receive treatment for their addictions in a recovery-oriented environment that treats each young person with dignity and respect. Most of these programs are for adolescents age 13 to 17. |

| Youth Advocacy |

The Department of Children and Families, Office of Adolescent Practice and Permanency, created the Youth Advisory Boards (YABs) in an effort to partner with youth to develop better services for aging-out youth. The YABs provide a platform for youth to express their concerns and provide input into the design and implementation of services.
